Item Sample (Front and Back)
SPECIFICS:
Brand: KMC
Quantity: 80pcs per pack
Dimension: 64x89mm
Unlike the normal perfect fits, KMC Perfect Black has a solid black color in one of its side. It fits standard TCG Cards like Magic the Gathering and Weiss Schwarz
Magic the Gathering and Weiss Schwarz
I have also tested the KMC Perfect Black with the following sleeve brand. (photos below)
- Dragonshields Matte Sleeves
- Hareruya Sleeves
- Legion Supplies Sleeves
- Bushiroad Anime Sleeves
- Ultrapro Matte Sleeves
Even though one side has a solid black color, the clear side is as clear as the other perfect fits.
KMC Perfect Fits side by side with the KMC Perfect Black
Though there are no photos (I'll add soon), the thickness of the KMC Perfect Black is the same with the KMC Perfect Fits. So if you are planning on using this product, you don't need to change your deckbox to a bigger one.
The KMC Perfect Black is a fit sleeves that helps you hide the back of your cards when you are playing with bright (or white) sleeves. By hiding the back of your cards, you prevent the possibility of getting yourself into trouble during tournaments since having the back of your card shown through a sleeve can merit you a game violation 'marked card'. It also allows you to play with old cards together with new cards with no problem. (Old cards tend to have a lighter/faded back than with the new one.) Aside from thatm its a pretty normal fit sleeves with no difference to the basic perfect fits.
Do I recommend this product? If you have the money to spare, then Yes. This one is a little expensive than the KMC Perfect Fits. Having that solid color at the back should give you peace of mind to use any type/brand of sleeves. It also looks nice and cool. lol The 80pcs is a bit of a letdown though. Though normal MTG decks only uses 75pcs so its not that big of a deal.
Some disclosure:
- Trading Cards used in the photos are Magic the Gathering cards and Weiss Schwarz cards.
